Diseases and 2. Recent Problems Faced by NTP. One of the main result concerning NTP is the needs of an intergrated National Committee Against TB. This National Committee has already declared by the Ministry of Health. It intergrates the effort of both government and non government sectors.
The committee is headed by Secretary General and consists of: 3 Director Generals and relavant staffs, staffs of Secretariate General, President of the Indonecsian Association Against TB (PPTI), Director Persahabatan Hospital/President of IAP, Head of the National Center of Health Laboratory, Head of the Planning Bureau. Head of the National Center of Health Personnel Education and Training. Head of the National Research Center of Communicable Diseases, President of the Indoncsian Medical Association, President of the Indonesian Association of Pediatrician, President of the Indonesian Association of Internal Medicine, and former President of IAP.

AIP may support the organization of services. Many of the member have high experience on the organization of services on the health institutions related to NTP, some of them have professional degree on management. Tuberculosis is one of the most important disease concerned by the member of IAP.
NTP will be easily asked their commitment on TB. But, like other professional, a few of them may have a highly self-confidence. Concerning over-reliance of BCG, most of the member have a good knowledge about that matter.

Conclusion

To enhance the success of NTP, AIP may have some important role to support NTP: role on the public services, educate related health personnel, and to do researches. No doubt about their concem in supporting NTP.The implementation of all NTP programmes should be done through the involvement of medical professionals,related health institutions, NGOs and other private sectors.

Tjandra Yoga Aditama (Secretary General of IAP 1996-1999) mentions on his paper
The Role of Professional and Sector in Strengthening CDC Programme (1995),that CDC managers should alwaysmaintains the communication with every doctors and institutions which handling TB patients. On the other paper Alliances with Medical Professional,Private Sector and Other Health Institution (1995),stated three principle strategies for CDC to enhance the involvement of private sector and professionals in their projects:
"1. Identify and make contact with all professional in the area from the be in the begining of the project:
2. Build mutual interest and common understanding between CDC and other health professional/institutiton on communicable disease in the community;
3. Involve all local health professionals and health institution as much as possible in the programs. "

We believe, that through these strategies NTP will have a better result on their projects. Through the New National TB Control Committee, both government commitment and involvement of other sectors can be grasped; and will increase the success of controlling TB in Indonesia.
